What is the difference between "error" and "mistake"?

I'm waiting for your help. From now on, I thank for your help. (Adding= I have made a mistake when writing the title, so I beg your pardon!)

I have corrected your "mistake"...

Let's look at your "mistake". In fact you have the knowledge of spelling of that word and how to use the grammar structure of singular-plural sentence order.

However, although you know the "correct" word or rule in normal conditions, you wrote:

"what is the differences?"

You are aware of your "mistake".

Suppose that you learnt in a way that we use "is" with plural nouns in a simple sentence. You think that "it is correct" to write "what is the differences?". And this is always how you write, what you accept is "right".

Now, this becomes an "error".

Mistakes can be done in specific situations, for example, while making a casual speech without monitoring yourself or when you are so tired and cannot focus on what you are using, although you know the "rules".

Errors are situations when you misuse something but think that it is "right". I mean, learning the rules in an incorrect way.

I hope I'm clear enough to explain the differences between "error" and "mistake".

With love...

What's the purpose of this section? To improve people's English writing skills perhaps?

Errors are more dangerous than mistakes. generally in language mistakes are assumed to be made spontenously, generally people are aware of them and are able to correct them while errors are not be corrected because people who make them are not aware of them.
